AQ Community Coaching C.I.C is a grassroots movement born from lived experience. Founded by AQ Ali, our work is rooted in cultural identity, emotional truth, and a commitment to healing and leadership for Black men and boys across the UK. We intend to create culturally rooted spaces where Black men and boys feel seen, heard, and supported. Our purpose is to rewrite the narratives faced by too many Black men and boys by providing culturally rooted coaching and mentoring.

Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 27 October 2025

We at AQ Community Coaching C.I.C are committed to making our website — www.aqcommunitycoaching.org.uk — accessible to people with disabilities. Our mission is rooted in healing, inclusion, and cultural truth, and that includes ensuring our digital space is welcoming and usable for all.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to navigate and engage with content with ease and dignity. This includes compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice commands.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

To ensure our website is inclusive and usable for all visitors, we’ve made the following adjustments:

  • ✅ Set the site language to improve screen reader compatibility

  • ✅ Structured content with clear headings and logical reading order

  • ✅ Added descriptive alt text to all meaningful images

  • ✅ Ensured colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards

  • ✅ Enabled keyboard navigation across all pages and forms

  • ✅ Reduced motion and animation for users with sensory sensitivities

  • ✅ Made downloadable content (PDFs, forms) accessible where possible

  • ✅ Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and resolve issues

We are continuously reviewing our site to improve accessibility and welcome feedback from our community.
